Nominations for the Women of Influence Awards Now Open
The Women’s Initiative Committee will be hosting the Sixth Annual Women of Influence Awards on Thursday, August 22, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1351 SW Arvonia Pl, Topeka, KS.
The committee is currently accepting award nominations. The nominees are women that have demonstrated excellence in serving and representing the community on a local, state or national level. These dynamic women will be celebrated in the following six categories: Woman of Influence, Outstanding Entrepreneur, Distinguished Mentor, Community Service, Education and Rising Star. The criteria for each category are available on the GO Topeka website at www.gotopeka.com/woi. GO Topeka will contact the nominees to ask them to provide further information addressing the specific selection criteria.
Nominators may submit their nominees via the website. Nomination forms may also be submitted via email to maryann.anderson@topekapartnership.com or faxed to 785.234.8656. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2019.
