Leadership Greater Topeka Gala Award Recipients Announced

Topeka, KS September 3, 2019– Leadership Greater Topeka will host its Awards Gala to celebrate 36 years of leadership in Topeka on Friday, October 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Topeka Country Club.

2019 honorees to be recognized include:
Rising Star Award

Luis Estrada, Migrant Recruitment Specialist, Greenbush - The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center

Activator Award

Marsha Sheahan Legacy Award

Herman Jones, Colonel, Superintendent, Kansas Highway Patrol

LGT Partnership Award

Early bird tickets are available until September 10. These tickets are $55 per person and may be purchased at LeadershipTopeka.com. Regularly priced tickets are $65 per person. 

Dinner and a cash bar are included in the experience. Entertainment will be provided by Howl2Go Dueling Pianos. Seating is limited.

Nominations for the LGT class of 2020 are open until Friday, September 20. Nomination may be submitted at LeadershipTopeka.com.
