The Giving Tree Topeka Non Profit Donation Thrift Store opened September 1, 2020 at 3343 SW Topeka blvd. The Giving Tree offers over 14,000 square feet of items in a clean, boutique style environment at incredibly affordable thrift store prices.

A 501c 3 non profit, the Giving Tree donates it’s net profits to a different local non profit that has applied to receive the funds every fiscal quarter. Every quarter a local non profit receives ALL net profits from the Giving Tree Thrift stores sales ensuring the support from Topekans goes directly back into the community and is widespread, not benefiting just one organization.

Behind the front counter, an 8 foot display board containing all of the financial income and overhead for each month, including the recipient for that quarters funds, can be seen by customers. A public display of how transparent the Giving Tree non profit strives to be. The Director of the organization commented that “It is our goal to reach far and wide in the Topeka community. At the Giving Tree, we hope customers will come shop with us again and again knowing exactly where their money is going and supporting our mission of transparency and giving back to the Topeka Community. We re-stock our shelves all day every day and strive to offer a clean, organized thrifting experience all with the goal of being the most affordable shopping experience in town.”
