Cameron Ashley Building Products Announces Opening of Topeka, KS Distribution Center
Cameron Ashley Building Products, Inc. (Cameron Ashley), announces the opening of its new Topeka, KS distribution center. Their current DC in Kansas City, KS will move and reopen in Topeka, KS. The DC officially opened on April 15 and is located at 925 Southwest University Boulevard, Sec. 12C Topeka, KS 66619. The facility, which has 39,000 square feet of indoor storage and approximately 30,000 square feet of outdoor storage, will serve customers in Topeka, Kansas City, and the surrounding market.
“We are pleased to continue servicing our customers in Kansas City, while expanding into the Topeka market.”, said Regional Vice President Aaron Davis. “This facility will allow us better access to customers in the area while setting up Cameron Ashley for future success in the west.” With the move, current Distribution Center Manager Danny Glover has been promoted to District Manager.
Danny will now oversee the Topeka, KS and Joplin, MO distribution centers. Danny joined Cameron Ashley in December 2017, rising the ranks from Distribution Manager to District Manager. “Cameron Ashley has continued to invest in their employees and company growth.”, said District Manager, Danny Glover. “We are excited to grow in the Topeka area while still continuing our strong partnership with our customers in Kansas City.”
