Women Attorneys Association of Topeka elects officers.
The Women Attorneys Association of Topeka (WAAT) today elected the following officers for the organization’s 2020-2021 term:
Jennifer Cocking will serve as President. Cocking is Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Capitol Federal® Savings Bank.
Erin Beckerman will serve as President-Elect. Beckerman is a shareholder and partner at Riordan, Fincher & Beckerman, P.A.
Jodi Litfin will serve as Secretary. Litfin is an Assistant Solicitor General with the Office of the Kansas Attorney General.
Jen Ouellette will serve as Treasurer. Ouellette is a staff attorney with the Kansas Insurance Department working with the Kansas Workers Compensation Fund.
WAAT was established in 1984 to advance the interests of women in the legal profession and the community. It seeks to promote the efficient administrative of justice and constant improvement of the law, encourage participation of women in professional and bar organizations, promote equality and social justice for all people, promote relations between the legal profession and the public, and provide women attorneys with a supportive environment to network professionally.
