Chamber PAC Announces 2020 Primary Endorsements of Pro-Business Candidates

Chamber PAC Announces 2020 Primary Endorsements of Pro-Business Candidates

The Kansas Chamber PAC on Wednesday announced its candidate endorsements for the 2020 Primary Election.

"As the leading voice for the state's business community, the Kansas Chamber's policy and legislative success would not be possible without the Kansas Chamber PAC identifying and endorsing the election of free-enterprise, pro-business legislators," said Alan Cobb, Kansas Chamber President and CEO. "If we want Kansas to be a top state to do business, we need to elect legislative champions who understand the fundamental role that business plays in the economic health of Kansas and who will promote legislation that lowers the cost of doing business in our great state."

Cobb said the Chamber PAC based its 2020 primary endorsements on a variety of factors including, but not limited to candidate surveys, in-person interviews, and scorecards based on legislators' voting record on policies and issues important to the Kansas business community.

"The last two legislative sessions show elections matter. The policymakers we send to Topeka determine whether Kansas will thrive or suffer under the burden of an ever-expanding government. Kansas needs legislators who will lead the charge for business so our state's economy can grow and create more jobs and prosperity for all Kansans," said Cobb.
