Internal Medicine Provider Ekta Aneja, M.D., joins Stormont Vail Health

Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that Ekta Aneja, M.D., has joined our team and will practice as an internal medicine physician, located at Cotton O’Neil Internal Medicine, 901 S.W. Garfield St., Topeka, KS 66606.

After the cancer diagnosis of Dr. Aneja’s grandmother, she knew that becoming a physician was the next move for her. Working in internal medicine, Dr. Aneja is able to build bonds with not only her patient, but their whole family. 

“When I am treating my patients, I make sure that I am very thorough as I learn about their lives,” said Dr. Aneja. “Each patient is different and in the field of internal medicine you can treat patients with conditions from heart failure to the common cold. I take the time to listen to my patients as we develop a personalized care plan.”

Dr. Aneja earned her medical degree in 2013 from Rural Medical College of Pravara Medical Trust, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York, in 2018. 

Dr. Aneja enjoys hiking with her husband. She also enjoys taking some time for herself to paint.
