Donation Results of the July EnvistaCares Challenge
Doorstep and Envista Credit Union are pleased to report that thanks to community support totaling $50,847.89, Doorstep will receive the challenge match of $2,500 from Envista. In total, Doorstep received $53,347.89 in contributions.
“Doorstep feels beyond blessed by the generosity of our donors and the community as a whole in helping us ‘earn’ these match dollars! Our agency began in 1996 as neighbors helping neighbors and that is still true today. When needed, people will step up to help their neighbors,” said Lisa Cain, Executive Director of Doorstep. “We have been quite busy lately assisting with the needs of our community during this time of COVID-19, and those who generally struggle to make ends meet. Having these funds will allow us to help more people, as we are able, in the month ahead. We are grateful to Envista Credit Union for allowing us to be one of their charities this year, and to the community for giving to us.”
“The outpouring of support for Doorstep over this last month has filled our hearts,” said Tara Dimick, Chief Business Development Officer of Envista. “As an organization, Doorstep is there for our community providing emergency services to our neighbors in need. We are honored to shine light on their commitment to Topeka and help in their fundraising efforts this past month.”
