Topeka Collegiate Students Donate ‘Go-Kits’ to YWCA
This week, Topeka Collegiate students and faculty presented 168 ‘Go-Kits’ to YWCA Northeast Kansas, to be distributed to victims of domestic and sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking in Shawnee, Jackson, Brown, and Wabaunsee Counties in Kansas.
“Over the past few weeks, students, teachers, and families gathered supplies and packaged the go-kits for our friends at the YWCA,” said Dr. Lyn Rantz, Head of School.
“The students were so excited to present the kits today at our assembly in front of all of their special guests for Grandparent/VIP Day!”
This project was an initiative of the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, launched at the beginning of the school year. To learn more about each pillar of the plan - Educate, Connect, and Sustain - click here.
