BMW/VW of Topeka Donates Warm Coats to Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka
On Tuesday, December 21, at 10:00 in the morning, BMW/VW of Topeka will be presenting Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka (BGCT) with a pallet of coats in all colors and sizes to help keep Club members warm and dry this winter. The presentation will occur at the BMW Volkswagen of Topeka dealership at 3030 S Kansas Ave.
“Kids have had such a challenging couple of years with academic disruptions, pandemic concerns, and general uncertainty about what the future holds. We do whatever it takes to support our kids academically and meet their social emotional needs, but they can’t truly thrive without having their basic needs met. BMW | VW of Topeka’s second annual coat drive to benefit our kids does so much more than keep them warm during the cold season. They are providing our kids with comfort, security, and the knowledge that people care.” – Jennifer LeClair, Vice President of Development, Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka.
BGCT currently operates 14 locations for before- and after-school programming, as well as full-day services on school days out during holiday breaks, spring break, and summer.
“The dealership and the entire Soave Automotive Group has a long history of helping children and families in need. BMW and VW of Topeka is proud to be a part of the Boys and Girls Club’s efforts to provide these kids with the security of a warm coat.” – Robert Hellweg, Marketing Director, Soave Automotive Group.
