EnvistaCares Challenge Highlights Helping Hands Humane Society
Envista Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will highlight Helping Hands Humane Society through the EnvistaCares Challenge during the month of April. Envista is challenging the community to give to Helping Hands Humane Society, and for every dollar given to the organization during the month of April, Envista will match up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com.
Envista will provide Helping Hands Humane Society with a media package that includes billboards, emails, social media and radio. In addition, Envista has added the creation of a personalized video to the package of benefits to help Helping Hands Humane Society share their message and encourage members of the community to not only give, but to join in and consider becoming a partner.
“Helping Hands Humane Society typically takes in over 6,000 lost, homeless, and abandoned animals a year. We are the primary resource in the Topeka and Shawnee County community for pets who have nowhere else to turn, and it is our mission to provide compassionate care and protection to these animals,” said Kathy Maxwell, executive director of Helping Hands Humane Society. “We are also a resource for pets and pet owners; we work to improve the human-animal bond through our lost and found program, pet food pantry, training classes, pet-friendly events, and more. Support from community members like you means everything to us and the animals we help; your donations translate into shelter, food, water, and care for pets who need it most.”
“It is exciting to join Helping Hands Humane Society in their efforts to provide for lost, homeless and abandoned animals,” said Tara Dimick, chief business development officer for Envista. “Our family recently adopted our cat, Milo, from HHHS and he has brought nothing but a joy, laughter and snuggles to our family during this difficult year. We hope to help shine a light on HHHS and encourage others to support their work in our community.”
