Stormont Vail Health opens COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments to Kansas Residents aged 12 and over

Stormont Vail Health has opened COVID-19 vaccine appointments beginning Friday, May 14 to all Kansas residents aged 12 and over. Appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can be scheduled on the Stormont Vail website https://www.stormontvail.org/covid19/vaccine/, where the COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Assistant will walk individuals through the online process. Eligible Kansas residents who need assistance scheduling a vaccine appointment can call the Vaccine Assistant Line at (785) 270-4786.

Additionally, Stormont Vail is making changes to the Stormont Vail Health COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic located at Stormont Vail Events Center to ensure the clinic is run efficiently. The changes are:

·   Beginning the week of May 17, Stormont Vail will now only offer appointments on Fridays. With the decrease in the demand for the COVID-19 vaccine, this change will help ensure the clinic remains efficiently staffed and help to avoid any waste of the vaccine. Stormont Vail will continue to assess the need for opening additional days based on the level of demand for the vaccine.

·   Individuals scheduled to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will now enter through the doors of the Skyzone Box Office. The previous entrance through Landon Arena is closed.

·   Stormont Vail is now offering valet service to individuals at the Vaccine Clinic free of charge. Stormont Vail encourages all who with mobility needs to utilize this service.
