EnvistaCares Challenge Highlights Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas

Envista Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will highlight Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Northeast Kansas through the EnvistaCares Challenge during the month of June. Envista is challenging the community to give to RMHC of Northeast Kansas, and for every dollar given to the organization during the month of June, Envista will match up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com

Envista will provide RMHC of Northeast Kansas with a media package that includes billboards, emails, social media and radio. In addition, Envista has added the creation of a personalized video to the package of benefits to help RMHC of Northeast Kansas share their message and encourage members of the community to not only give, but to join in and consider becoming a partner.

“The Ronald McDonald House’s mission is unique – we keep families close to their hospitalized children. In a home-away-from-home setting, families are given a warm and comfortable place to sleep, served wholesome and nutritious meals, and offered a caring ear or shoulder when needed,” said Mindee Reece, CEO/Executive Director for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas. “Families are asked to consider contributing $25/night toward their stay, but most cannot afford it with time away from their jobs and extra medical bills. No one is ever turned away for inability to pay. With your support, the Ronald McDonald House will be able to keep children and families safely together and close to the care they need.”

“As a mother of a recent NICU graduate, it’s comforting to know resources like the Ronald McDonald House exist to support families during what can be a difficult and scary time. I’m so glad that we’re able to support this organization through the EnvistaCares Challenge, so they can continue to provide services to families in our community and surrounding communities,” said Erika McNeill, Engagement Coordinator for Envista Credit Union.
