School Sports Physicals Available at Topeka ER & Hospital

Throughout July and August, Topeka ER & Hospital is offering sports physicals for middle and high school student athletes. The sports physicals are available 24/7 with no appointment necessary; the cost is $25 per physical.

Sports physicals are open to all middle and high school students and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Dr. Jared Schreiner, CMO of Topeka ER & Hospital, understands that sports physicals can often be forgotten by busy parents.

“Being a parent myself, I know how hectic life can be,” Schreiner says. “Making sports physicals available 24/7, without the need for an appointment, ensures every family will be able to easily fit this into their busy schedules.”

The Kansas State High School Activities Association’s Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form will be available. Parents and guardians can also download and print the PPE form from the KSHSAA’s website, fill it out and bring it with them.
