Reed Dental Center Opens New Office Specializing in Individualized Patient Care Experience
Reed Dental Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate the opening of their new office in the Fairlawn Plaza Shopping Center. Dr. David Reed, a Topeka native and Washburn University graduate, is proud to open his office in his hometown.
“As a Topeka native, I have always wanted to give back to my hometown and the community that has helped me achieve my goals,” he said. “I’m a local dentist with a heart focused on delivering the ultimate in oral healthcare to my patients.”
Occupying the former Lifeway Christian Store space in Fairlawn Plaza, Reed Dental Center is a 2,500 sq ft facility, featuring 3 patient rooms in a spa-like atmosphere centered on the patient experience.
The office contains state-of-the-art equipment including new dental chairs designed for the ultimate in patient comfort, separate and closed-off treatment rooms for patient privacy and personal care, along with nitrous oxide sedation and oral conscious sedation to ease patient anxiety.
The goal of Reed Dental Center’s three staff members is to provide personal, individualized care for friends, families, and neighbors in the Topeka community. Reed Dental Center is a fee for service practice. Their team will work with all patient’s dental insurances and submit on the patient’s behalf for reimbursement for covered services. For those without dental insurance coverage, Reed Dental Center offers a dental membership plan.

Dr. Reed was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. Upon graduating from Washburn University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry, and a minor in Business, he went on to pursue his goal of becoming a dentist at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
