Chamber PAC Announces 2022 General Election Endorsements of Pro-Jobs Candidates

Chamber PAC Announces 2022 General Election Endorsements of Pro-Jobs Candidates

The Kansas Chamber Political Action Committee (KSC PAC) announced its endorsements of pro-jobs candidates for the Kansas House of Representatives for the 2022 General Elections.

"With skyrocketing inflation increasing costs on every Kansan as well as deepening concerns of a possible recession, it is even more crucial that the elected leaders of our state understand the fundamental role business plays in the economic health of our communities," said Christie Kriegshauser, the Kansas Chamber's Senior Director of Political Affairs. "The candidates endorsed by the Kansas Chamber PAC are committed to working to keep the cost of doing business in Kansas competitive so companies have more to invest in their operations, their employees, and their communities."

In addition to the House endorsements, the KSC PAC recently announced its support for gubernatorial candidate Derek Schmidt.

"Derek Schmidt is a proven champion of Kansas job creators," said Kriegshauser. "He has fought against harmful and unnecessary regulations, stopped federal government overreach, and pushed to remove barriers to grow jobs and increase community investments."

Kriegshauser said the KSC PAC also endorsed Sen. Ron Ryckman Sr, (R-Meade) in the only race on the ballot for the Kansas Senate.

The KSC PAC based its 2022 endorsements on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, candidate surveys, in-person interviews, and scorecards based on legislators' voting record on policies and issues important to the Kansas business community.
