Ribbon Cutting for Two Duplex Affordable Housing Development

Cornerstone of Topeka, Inc. conducted a ribbon cutting today at 1342 SW Fillmore; (One block East of the field and track of Robinson Middle School.) Cornerstone owns the development and will lease the two 3 Bedroom and two 2 Bedroom housing units as a part of their affordable housing program.

Shirley Construction was the General Contractor, and the project was financed by a building loan from The City of Topeka’s Department of Planning and Development, and a private loan from Capitol Federal.

“We are excited to bring new housing options to the Central Park Neighborhood.” Said Chris Palmer, Cornerstone of Topeka’s Executive Director.
