Mammoth Hires Matthew Bergmann as General Counsel
Mammoth Sports recently announced Matthew Bergmann has joined the company as general counsel and chief legal officer.
Bergmann was previously a partner at the law firm of Frieden & Forbes, LLP for more than a decade. His private practice of law focused in the areas of administrative, business/corporate, education, gaming, governmental relations, labor, real estate, and workers compensation.
“Our company continues to grow and Matt’s extensive experience as an attorney is already an important piece of our ability to bring communities together through top-quality sports facilities,” said Mammoth CEO Jake Farrant.

Bergmann was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2005 and is licensed to practice at both the state and federal levels. He graduated from Washburn University in 2001 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Washburn University School of Law in 2005.
He also studied internationally, participating in coursework at Orebro University in Orebro, Sweden, as well as King’s College in London, England.
Bergmann resides in Silver Lake, Kansas with his wife, Shannon and their three children.
