EnvistaCares Challenge Announces BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope Donation Results
BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope and Envista are pleased to announce that thanks to community support, they helped BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope raise $2,176. BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope was just shy of $2,500, but Envista still wanted to match at the $2,500 level. In total BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope raised a total of $4,676 throughout the month of December.
“BabyJay’s provides vital support to pediatric cancer families in our community and Envista is proud to support their tremendous efforts,” said Secily Rees, mortgage and lending advisor at Envista.
BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope was founded in 2012 in memory of Jayden "BabyJay." With the mission to assist families with the daily items that are not covered by insurance. BabyJay's Legacy of Hope provides assistance with utility bills, car payments, housing, food assistance, gas cards for travel, school supplies during the fall, and most anything in between.
“Every donation we received helps us provide assistance with daily items that are not covered by insurance to help these families through this journey,” said Erica Souter, founder and family coordinator for BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope. “Simple things like food and gas to the larger items like making Christmas happen make a huge difference and helps wrap these families in the support and love. We are grateful to be a part of the EnvistaCares Challenge.”
The EnvistaCares Challenge was created in April of 2019 and has helped raise more than $796,000 for local organizations. The Challenge includes an in-kind gift to the organization of a media buy that is valued at more than $10,000 and a $2,500 challenge grant. The media buy includes radio, emails, online ads, billboard, social media and interviews. The challenge gift provides a dollar-for-dollar match up to $2,500 for gifts given during the month that the organization is spotlighted.
