For the 8th consecutive year, Security Benefit engages their team to “Stuff the Bus” for Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka
On Thursday, August 10th, at 3:00 pm, Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka (BGCT) and Stuff the Bus organizer Pat Colley will be joining the team at Security Benefit for an impactful presentation of monetary support and items from the BGCT Wish List. Employees split into teams to purchase items to support the Club’s before-school, after-school, and school day out programs at 14 locations throughout the Greater Topeka Area.
“With Pat as the founder of our Stuff the Bus program, Security Benefit has supported him as an employee, and of course our organization, without fail every year since its conception. The supplies generated in this annual effort truly support our programs throughout the entire year and we couldn’t be more grateful for their continued support.” – Jennifer LeClair, Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka.
As area school districts prepare to enter their 2023-2024 school year, BGCT programs provide critical before- and after-school support for kids and families across the entire community. Program supplies donated through Stuff the Bus efforts for the past 8 years continue to support year-round programs at the Club. The Stuff the Bus program was initially launched by Pat Colley and other members of the 2016 class of Leadership Greater Topeka, and is an effort that continues annually to support the kids and families who need us most.
