Stormont Vail Health Cultural Ambassadors Present the 2024 Warm and Thankful Celebration to Support Homeless Community Members
Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce its annual Warm and Thankful Celebration. This year, our efforts will support individuals experiencing homelessness during the holiday season. This free event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. in the North Tower Lobby entrance, inside Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave.
Stormont Vail invites team members, patients, and visitors to join us as the hospital illuminates its holiday light display and presents donations to Topeka Rescue Mission (TRM) representatives. The Building Blocks Childcare students will lead a holiday music sing-along, and members of our Paw Squad will make a special visit.
Starting Monday, Nov. 11, Stormont Vail will place a healthy food donation bin near the elevators inside the Topeka hospital's main lobby. Additional containers will be available at all Stormont Vail and Cotton O'Neil clinics.
Community and Stormont Vail team members are encouraged to drop off healthy food items such as canned fruits and vegetables, canned chicken and tuna, and peanut butter. Stormont Vail will present these contributions to representatives from the TRM for distribution at the event.
