Sarah Dunekack Named President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Kansas

Junior Achievement of Kansas (JA of Kansas) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Dunekack as its new President and CEO, effective November 4, 2024. Dunekack brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to JA Kansas's mission of empowering young people with financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.

Dunekack has been an active member of the Topeka Advisory Board, contributing significantly to the organization's initiatives in the region. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing JA Kansas's programs, which reach approximately 28,000 students annually across Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence and surrounding communities.

"I am honored to lead Junior Achievement of Kansas in its mission to equip young people with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate their financial futures," said Dunekack. "Through the dedication of our board members, volunteers, and partners, we are making a real difference in young Kansans' lives, preparing them for success in a rapidly changing economic landscape."

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to preparing young people for economic success. With programs that engage students in practical, hands-on experiences, JA Kansas is committed to empowering students to make informed choices that support their academic, career, and financial goals.

As JA Kansas looks to the future, Dunekack will lead efforts to enhance partnerships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations, further cementing the organization's role as a cornerstone of youth education and economic empowerment in Kansas.
