Bartlett & West jumps 32 spots on ENR’s Top 500 list
Bartlett & West is proud to announce the company was again named one of the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by Engineering News-Record (ENR). To be selected as a Top 500 Design Firm, ENR ranks U.S. engineering, architecture and contracting firms annually based on the previous year’s revenue dollar volume. Bartlett & West’s ranking of 258 is a 32-spot growth from the prior year.
“Companies across the industry had similar experiences in the last year—managing unprecedented backlogs of work while handling workforce shortages and trying to harness the value of artificial intelligence,” said Bartlett & West’s CEO Joe Caldwell.
“We’re like our peers in that Bartlett & West had incredible financial success and revenue growth in 2023. Yet, we also found some extra leverage, as demonstrated by our improvement in ranking, thanks to the strength of our culture as a 100-percent employee-owned company. We hired nearly 100 new employee-owners to our firm, which increased our overall headcount by more than 25 percent, while maintaining a 93-percent retention rate,” Caldwell said.
In addition to the company’s financial successes recognized by the ENR ranking, Bartlett & West was named on Forbes America’s Best Small Employers list in 2023.
Bartlett & West, founded in 1951, has offices in seven states. The firm provides engineering, technology solutions and other professional services to a wide range of clients.
