Suave Agave: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month & Día De Los Muertos with Tequila, Art, and Culture
Enjoy a special evening created to tantalize the senses with art, culture, and tequila, all while supporting the mission to create a better quality of life for all Hispanics and the Topeka community through Latina leadership.
Suave Agave is a major fundraiser for MANA de Topeka, a chapter of the National MANA organization, designed to raise funds to deliver scholarships toward higher education and to support the programs and services of the organization. The event promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment, education, and celebration.
The event will be held on November 2, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Townsite Tower Ballroom and will include the following exciting activities:
Learning the Art of Tasting Tequila: Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the history and cultural significance of tequila. As enjoy Padre Azul Tequila distributed by Strathman Sales Company, Inc.
Dia De Los Muertos: Learn about the significance of the beautiful symbols, traditions, and imagery of this holiday
Silent and Live Art Auction: Guests can bid on original art pieces created by local artists.
A Tequila Infused Four-Course Dinner: Guests will enjoy a delicious meal with each course infused with tequila.
A Suave Agave Shot Glass: Guests will receive a commemorative shot glass to take home as a keepsake.
Music and Entertainment: The event will feature music and entertainment to create a festive atmosphere.
