Envista Federal Credit Union Recognizes Outstanding Employees at Annual Awards Banquet
Envista Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the distinguished recipients of the 2024 Core Values Award and the Ken Norton Community Involvement Award at the Annual Awards Banquet held on January 25, 2025. These exceptional individuals, Christina Mesa and Bobbi Smith, have demonstrated unwavering commitment, leadership, and dedication in embodying Envista's core values and making a significant impact in the community.
Christina Mesa, Envista’s Oakland branch manager, was honored with the Core Values Award, which recognizes an employee who consistently exemplifies Envista's core values (IMPACT, INTEGRITY, EXCEED, EMPOWER, UNITY) through their work, interactions, and community engagement. Among 18 nominees, Christina stood out for her remarkable embodiment of all five core values in her actions and contributions. In 2024, she empowered her team to exceed their annual goals, while also encouraging them to increase their service level scores. Christina’s personal service score is the highest amongst all Envista staff. Under Christina’s leadership the Oakland team also excelled at developing impactful relationships within the Oakland community.
Bobbi Smith, Consumer Lending Development Advisor, was presented with the esteemed Ken Norton Community Involvement Award, established to honor outstanding dedication and commitment to community involvement and volunteerism. Bobbi’s exceptional commitment, totaling more than 325 volunteer hours in 2024, reflects her strong passion for serving the community.
She has been actively involved with the Topeka Area Building Association by serving on the Associate Member Council, she supports and mentors local youth through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and she generously volunteered to support the St. Jude House.
Bobbi went the extra mile to support her team and her organization. She stepped up in a big way in 2024, eagerly volunteering to represent Envista at several sponsored golf tournaments, networking after hours events, Business Unwinds, Topeka South Rotary events, Child Care Aware of Eastern Kansas’ Celebrity Waiter event, and even made the trip to Hutchinson to support her fellow teammates at their annual business meeting and chamber expo.
A highlight of her success was offering to serve as a keynote speaker at the Envista sponsored Topeka Chamber Women’s Forum. Bobbi stepped far outside her comfort zone to embrace her life journey and share it with a room full of 200 women.
