West Ridge Mall Moves Forward: Final Plans Completed, Key Spaces Unlocked
The revitalization of West Ridge Mall has reached a significant milestone with the completion of final plans, paving the way for a dynamic, reimagined community hub. After thoughtful strategy and diligent work addressing infrastructure needs and unique challenges, the mall is primed for a new era of growth.
The purchase and integration of the former Sears space, totaling over 121,000 square feet across two levels, represents the final piece of the puzzle. This key addition not only solves much-needed anchor space but also provides exciting opportunities for both large-format retail and innovative new tenants.

The mall's design plans feature three distinct gateways, each offering a unique outdoor and indoor experience for visitors. The Meadow Gateway, formerly the JCPenney building, faces Wanamaker Road, will include a large garden entryway with generous spaces for gathering. The Valley Gateway is situated at the north end of the mall and will feature a two-level design with movable seating and extensive green spaces. Within the Valley Gateway, the upper-level food court will have new outdoor access and seating. The Ridgeway Gateway, located in the northeast upper-level entrance, will appeal to families with its playground-like atmosphere, featuring a playhouse, numerous gathering areas, and green space. Interior plans within each gateway will mimic the design aesthetic.
