2025 SLI Festival of Trees
Topeka’s favorite holiday tradition is back for its 48th annual Festival of Trees, kicking off November 25 at Fairlawn Plaza.
When: November 25 to December 6, 10 am – 6 pm daily (closed on Thanksgiving)
(Tree & Wreath Setup – November 21, 9 am – 6 pm & November 22, 9 am - 4 pm)

For 48 years, SLI’s Festival of Trees has brought the magic of the holidays to life while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across Topeka. This beloved community event features beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday displays—all available for bid through SLI’s online auction.
Since its inception in 1977, the Festival has raised more than $3.7 million, helping fund the unmet needs of more than 125 adults SLI serves through residential, community integration, employment, and independent living programs.
2025 Festival Highlights
• Public Viewing: Trees, wreaths, and silent auction items open daily from Nov. 25 – Dec. 6
• Sweet Shoppe: Homemade treats available for purchase throughout the event
• Silent Auction: Bid online from Nov. 25 – Dec. 6
• Festival Soirée: Friday, Dec. 5, 6–9 p.m. — an evening of holiday elegance, live auction, and community celebration
