Stormont Vail Health will hold our first Summer Scrubs session for high schoolers entering senior year who are considering a future in healthcare. From June 9 to 13, 2025, students will engage with departments throughout Stormont Vail Hospital, including (but not limited to) the Emergency Room, Pharmacy, Surgery, Laboratory Services, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Dietitians, Behavioral Health, Medical Imaging, and Simulation Center.
“As students step into the roles of healthcare professionals, they gain valuable experiences that help them envision their future careers,” said Morgan Ray, Stormont Vail Career Counselor and Talent Acquisition Partner. “By showing them both clinical and non-clinical jobs, we empower them to make informed choices about their career paths.”
Each Summer Scrubs session empowers future healthcare professionals with practical knowledge and experience that ready them for the evolving medical field, ultimately improving health outcomes in our community.
