Topeka Zoo Invites the Community to Meet National Geographic Photographer & Photo ARK founder, Joel Sartore
The Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center invites the community to meet renowned National Geographic photographer and Photo ARK founder, Joel Sartore, in support of its Tiger Trails & Den Academy project. Sartore will deliver a lecture at the White Concert Hall, Washburn University, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm CST.
Sartore, a photographer, author, and conservationist, will discuss the importance of conservation, his work with the Photo ARK collection, and his experiences as a wildlife photographer for National Geographic. This event serves as a fundraiser for the Zoo's Tiger Trails & Den Academy campaign, which will feature a new exhibit showcasing Sumatran tigers and King vultures.
