Loverboy Performing LIVE at Prairie Band Casino & Resort

Loverboy is lighting up our Great Lakes Ballroom on July 24! The group’s punchy, energetic classic rock sound has earned Loverboy four albums with double platinum certifications, including the 4x certified platinum Get Lucky.

Canadian rock stars Loverboy have been rocking stadiums throughout the world since the 80s. Releasing their first album self-titled Loverboy in 1980, the group quickly gained success, touring with Cheap Trick, ZZ Top, Kansas, and Def Leppard shortly after. The following year, the band released their next album Get Lucky. Guided by hit single “Working for the Weekend,” the record won the band six Juno awards in 1981, the highest award in the Canadian music industry and a record number of wins that has yet to be broken. Loverboy continued releasing new music until the end of the 80’s, notably recording Team USA’s theme for the 1984 Summer Olympics. Between a couple of hiatuses since the 90s, the group has released four studio albums since then, dropping their last LP Unfinished Business in 2014.
