Topeka Festival Singers Launch 41st Season: Bright Horizon
The Topeka Festival Singers are thrilled to announce their 2025–2026 season: Bright Horizon. Now entering their 41st year, TFS continues their legacy of musical excellence with four powerful concerts that reflect renewal, courage, wonder, and joy.
After a milestone 40th anniversary, the choir steps forward into a new era with a season that embraces the promise of tomorrow. Under the theme Bright Horizon, audiences will experience a series of performances that explore transformation, celebration, light, and unity—brought to life by one of Topeka’s most cherished vocal ensembles.
“This season is about lifting each other up,” said Dr. Brett Robinson, Artistic Director of the Topeka Festival Singers. “Through every piece we perform, we’re celebrating how music connects us, heals us, and inspires us to look ahead with hope.”
All performances begin at 7:00 PM, a new earlier start time designed to make concerts more accessible for audiences.

Monday, October 13, 2025 – Take Flight!
Let your imagination soar in a program celebrating transformation and courage. From the Beatles’ Blackbird to the spirited I’ll Fly Away, this concert invites listeners to embrace the winds of change with music that uplifts and inspires.
Monday, December 15, 2025 – Holiday Joy
Ring in the season with this joyful celebration of holiday music and tradition, made even brighter with the sparkle of live brass. This beloved Topeka tradition brings family and friends together in a festive, heartwarming evening of seasonal favorites.
Monday, March 9, 2026 – Eternal Light
A luminous journey through themes of hope, reflection, and beauty rising from darkness. Featuring Elaine Hagenberg’s stunning Illuminare, this concert explores the mystery of light through sacred poetry and soul-stirring choral works.
Monday, May 11, 2026 – Better Together
A return of the popular stage and screen concert, this finale celebrates connection and community through unforgettable songs from movies and musicals. It’s a joyful reminder that we are stronger—and brighter—together.
