Stay Late, Roam Wild At The Topeka Zoo
The Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center is introducing evening fun throughout the month of August! The zoo is extending its hours on Wednesday and Friday evenings throughout the month, offering something for everyone.
Wednesday Nights: Family Fun Until 8 pm
On August 6, 13, 20, and 27, the Topeka Zoo will stay open late until 8 pm, with last admissions at 7:30 pm. Families can enjoy the Lorikeet Aviary, Security Benefit Children’s Zoo, and the Rainforest dome, which takes on a magical atmosphere during the twilight hours. Regular zoo admission applies, and zoo members enjoy free entry.
Friday Nights: Night Out at the Zoo
For adults 21+, the Topeka Zoo presents Night Out at the Zoo on August 8, 15, 22, and 29. With a $10 cover charge, guests can enjoy:
Live entertainment, changing each week
Food trucks and carts serving adult and soft beverages
The Oasis Airstream Mobile Bar, parked inside the zoo on August 15, 22, and 29
Gates open at 5:30 pm and close at 8:30 pm, with last entry at 8:00 pm. Food and beverages are available for purchase, and the cover charge supports the Zoo.
