Legendary country singer-songwriter David Lee Murphy is performing live in concert at Prairie Band Casino & Resort on April 2!

Best recognized by his massive hit singles “Dust On The Bottle,” “Party Crowd,” and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” David Lee Murphy is one of country music’s best and most prolific songwriters. Crafting hits for Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams Jr. and others, it is impossible to consider modern country music without the influence of David Lee Murphy.

Murphy’s debut record Out With A Bang released in 1994, catapulting his songs onto radio play and earning him a platinum certified record by the RIAA. He would release three more albums before taking a hiatus from recording in 2004, choosing instead to write for and with country music’s best. After simply putting pen to paper and recording demos for over a decade, Murphy released his fourth album No Zip Code with production help from Kenny Chesney, the key influence behind Murphy’s recording career revival. “He goes, ‘Man, you need to be making a record. I could produce it with Buddy Cannon, and I think people would love it,’” Murphy reflects. “It’s hard to say no to Kenny Chesney when he comes up with an idea like that.” About the record, Murphy added “I wanted to record songs of mine that people haven’t heard before, that are new. We wanted to make the kind of album that you would listen to if you were camping or out on a lake, fishing. Or sitting anywhere, just having a good time.”
