Bugged By Love? Topeka Zoo Hosting Valentine's Events & Fundraiser

Feeling stung by a love bug, or wanting to squish an old romance? This Valentine’s season, the Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center has events & fundraising opportunities sure to have the community abuzz.

Bee Mine Bingo:

• 18+ Adult Night: Friday, February 13

  • 6 pm – 8:30 pm (gates open at 5:30, games begin at 6 pm)

  • Ticket Price: $35 each

  • Includes three basic bingo cards (prizes for every winner!), individually wrapped charcuterie box, non-alcoholic beverages, access to cash bar, and entertainment

  • Premium Bingo Cards for Premium Prizes – buy in for a premium game to win one of our higher-tiered prizes such as Zoo memberships, behind-the-scenes packages, paintings done by Zoo animals, and more!

• Family Edition: Saturday, February 14

  • 10 am – 12:00 pm (gates open at 9:30, games begin at 10 am)

  • Ticket Price: $20 each for any age (ages 2 & under are free)

  • Includes three basic bingo cards (with prizes for every game!), individually wrapped brunch box, non-alcoholic beverages, access to cash bar for adults 21+, and entertainment

Forever Bugged: Name A Cockroach

• Donate to symbolically name one of the Topeka Zoo’s resident hissing cockroaches, housed in the Schendel’s Bug Zoo

• Cost: $10

• Each donor will receive a thank-you email with a printable name certificate designed by the Topeka Zoo within 48 hours of donation
