Stormont Vail Health to Host Inaugural Infectious Disease Conference
A disease once considered uncommon in a region may begin appearing more frequently. A routine diagnosis may require a different approach than it did a few years ago. As infectious diseases continue to evolve, healthcare professionals must adapt with them.
To explore these changes and their impact on patient care, Stormont Vail Health will host its inaugural Infectious Disease Conference from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at the Pozez Education Center Auditorium at Stormont Vail Health Hospital and through Zoom.
The conference will bring together physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to address how infectious diseases are changing, what those changes mean for patient care and healthcare teams’ responses.
Presentations will cover fungal infections, clinical updates, vector-borne diseases, and issues influencing healthcare in Kansas and the country. Speakers will include experts from Stormont Vail and guest presenters from outside the organization.
Registration is required. More information and registration are available through Stormont Vail’s conference registration web page.
