The High 5 for Mom & Baby Premier designation is awarded to hospitals that follow 10 evidence‑based practices shown to improve maternal and infant health outcomes. At Stormont Vail, this means immediate skin‑to‑skin contact after birth, keeping mothers and babies together through 24‑hour rooming‑in, exclusive breastmilk feeding unless medically indicated, and access to ongoing breastfeeding support.
