Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka Receives $50,000 Multiyear Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation
Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka, a nonprofit organization that empowers local youth through academic support, mentoring, and enrichment programs, today announced it has received a $50,000 multiyear grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to support Roots & Wings, a healing-centered outdoor classroom that provides children ages 5–12 with inclusive, nature-based learning and play experiences that strengthen social-emotional well-being, confidence, teamwork, and healthy development.
“The funding from the U.S. Bank Foundation plays an important role in helping us build programs that drive opportunity and long-term impact. We’re grateful for the support as we strive to serve more children,” said Dawn McWilliams, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka.
