A board-certified periodontist, Swift has held offices in the Missouri/Kansas and local periodontal and dental associations, leadership positions in the 2006 and 2016 Kansas Missions of Mercy (free dental clinics) in Topeka and volunteer positions in other KMOMs across the state.

She was recognized in the inaugural class of Topeka’s Top 20 under 40 in 2010, participated in the Greater Topeka Leadership class of 2012 and continues to be actively involved within the community.
