Justin Halbe, M.D., strives to practice evidence based medicine and stays as current as possible with new treatment and prevention options as they become available. He became a physician because he wanted to be constantly challenged and wanted to have a direct, positive impact on other people’s lives on a daily basis. Dr. Halbe enjoys spending time with his patients and cares about them by investing himself in their care, heath and well-being.
Dr. Halbe has joined Cotton O’Neil's medical team and will practice as a cardiologist. His practice will be located at Cotton O’Neil Heart Center, 929 S.W. Mulvane in Topeka.
Dr. Halbe received his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, in 2010. He completed a residency program in internal medicine at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison, Wisconsin, in 2013. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2016.
“I dedicate myself to my patients,” said Dr. Halbe. “I do my best to listen to their concerns, be empathetic to their illness, yet be direct and honest with them in their state of health and treatment options.”
When not in the office, Dr. Halbe enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and he enjoys photography, hiking and outdoor activities.
