In addition to honoring 34 women at the 30th Annual Leadership Luncheon, the YWCA of Northeast Kansas has selected four women of excellence from the last 30 years that represent YWCA's mission and what the event is all about: Martha Bartlett Piland, Michelle De La Isla, Blanche Parks and Liz Steffen.

While President, the club raised $35,000 in 30 days for Every Rotarian Every Year and Polio Plus fundraisers and won all awards, including the Presidential Citation. She is a Paul Harris Fellow.
