NOTO Rings in the New Year with a Ball Drop & NOTO Crawl
The NOTO Arts and Entertainment District is starting a new tradition this year for New Year’s Eve with a ball drop in Redbud Park. With the newest addition of the park and the Teeter Courtyard, it's the perfect place to start off the new year.
Doors open for check in at 8:45pm inside the Art Center. The event officially kicks off at 9 with live music by Carje' Jazz Combo, a photo opp inside the pavilion at Redbud Park, and a NOTO Crawl at participating shops where ticket holders will have a chance to enjoy free or discounted activities, food or drink. Ticket holders will also receive a NOTO swag bag and party favors. After an evening of fun at the participating NOTO shops, we’ll ring in the New Year at Redbud Park with prize drawings, a 50/50 raffle, a complimentary champagne toast, and ball drop at Redbud Park. Tickets to the New Years in NOTO is $40 for an individual, $60 for a couple. Friends of NOTO tickets are only $25 for an individual, $45 for a couple. All proceeds go to the support the NOTO Arts and Entertainment District, a not for profit organization that supports the NOTO district.
"This New Years' we really hope to capture the spirit of all the positive changes that have blossomed in NOTO and Topeka. As we head into a new decade, we look back on 10 years of NOTO and we're excited to celebrate the next chapter ahead. Just as the community has already embraced all the awesome NOTO encompasses, we expect the community to join us with their friends and family, in celebrating this new tradition of ringing in the next year!" said program coordinator Staci Ogle.
