NEW TOPEKA FLAG UNVEILEDAt the 2019 State of the Community event hosted by the Greater Topeka Partnership, the new Topeka Flag was unveiled.

Nearly 4,000 votes were received on the three flag designs. Flag A was the winning flag by receiving over 70% of the votes. 

“We are blown away with the number of votes cast. It is clear which flag the community wanted,” said Lindsay Lebahn, executive director of Forge. “With all the exciting developments and changes within the Topeka Community there really isn’t a better time for this.”

The community choosing a new flag is reflective of the positive shift in our community that we are all feeling and seeing every day. We know that as the flag rolls out in the community, it will bring along a sense of excitement and momentum to keep moving our community forward. We want to see everywhere that this flag pops up, we are encouraging everyone to share the flag on social media using the #TopekaFlag.
