LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center Receives $6,171 in Donations

Envista, through the Envista Cares Challenge, provided LifeHouse with a one-month media package and a $2,500 challenge grant. Jim Garrison State Farm Agency then joined in the challenge with a commitment of 50 cents per dollar donated to LifeHouse in April. With the announcement of $2,421 raised by the community, both companies have committed their full grant amounts. Envista will give LifeHouse $2,500 and Jim Garrison State Farm Agency will donate $1,250 to LifeHouse. In total, LifeHouse will receive a total of $6,171.

“We cannot thank Envista enough for choosing LifeHouse for the EnvistaCares Challenge during April,” said Kelly Durkin, Executive Director of LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center. “The media coverage and donations from the community have been overwhelming. The children and families we serve will truly benefit from the generosity and support of Envista, Jim Garrison State Farm Agency and the community. Thank you again for supporting our mission in helping kids be kids again.”

“It is our goal to give a voice and shine a spotlight on those organizations that are doing exceptional work in our community, while encouraging our community to give,” said Tara Dimick, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Envista. “It is exciting to see the community step up to the challenge and support LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center.”
