FOTZ and Envista Announce the Donation Results of the June Envista Cares Challenge
The Friends of the Topeka Zoo are pleased to report that community has given $7,585.99 to the Friends of the Topeka Zoo in the month of June. With the addition of the $2,500 challenge grant from Envista, the Friends of the Topeka Zoo received $10,085.99 in contributions during June.
“The Topeka Zoo strives to make impact within our community by connecting people to nature. The core of our mission is to promote wildlife conservation and education. We do this by adding new and engaging experiences through innovative exhibits, special events, and educational programming, all within a safe and fun atmosphere,” said Jared Bednar, Executive Director of the Friends of Topeka Zoo. “Contributions from this challenge will enable us to empower even more visitors to become conservation advocates and create greater impact in their own lives.”
