Internist Shravana Bheemanathi, M.D. Joins Stormont Vail Health
Stormont Vail Health announced that Shravana Bheemanathi, M.D., has joined our medical team and will practice as an internal medicine specialist, located at Cotton O’Neil Garfield.
Ever since she was a child, Dr. Bheemanathi has been fascinated with medicine. During her undergraduate program this passion and desire of becoming a doctor only grew. As a physician, Dr. Bheemanathi knows that patients come first. She spends her time getting to know each individual that walks through the clinic door.
“With primary care, I cherish the moments in which I am able to develop long-term relationships with patients,” Bheemanathi says. “I take my time to talk with my patients, not the computers, and give them the time they want.”
Dr. Bheemanathi earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees at Sri Venkata Sai Medical College, Telegana, India, in 2013. She completed her residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center, New York City, in 2017. Dr. Bheemanathi’s most recent position was at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, New York City, where she had been since 2017.
Dr. Bheemanathi says she has been staying busy with her little one, and when not in the clinic enjoys gardening, reading and travelling with her husband.
