White Linen Announces Second Annual Fundraiser

Topeka, KS, September 5, 2019 -- Adam Vandonge, Executive Chef and owner of the White Linen restaurant located at 112 SW 6th Street, has announced plans to partner again with Valeo Behavioral Health Care in a special fundraising effort to increase community awareness and to support the needs of those experiencing a mental illness including depression. This is the second year the White Linen has sponsored the annual Mental Health Awareness Week which will be held October 8 - 12, with 100% of the profits going to benefit Valeo. Chef Adam has indicated that he is committed to increasing the awareness of those who struggle with depression at certain points in their lives, and wants individuals to know that there are people who want to listen and to provide help.

Reservations are now being taken for the delicious Five Course dinner which includes: Warm Biscuit, Herb Butter; Lobster Filled Ravioli with Sage Cream; Seared Scallops, Cheese Risotto, Corn Relish; Braised Pork-Belly, Garlic Potatoes, Bacon Jam; Cinnamon Bread Pudding with Cream Cheese Frosting. Cost of the dinner is $50 per person, and reservations may be made by calling the White Linen Restaurant at 350-2500.
