“Mission Possible” Campaign Benefiting TRM Exceeds Goal

“Mission Possible” Campaign Benefiting TRM Exceeds Goal

Topeka, KS (September 15, 2019) – John Fager, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for CoreFirst Bank & Trust, announced Friday that the “Mission Possible: Restoring Hope” campaign exceeded goal by just over $49,000. The campaign was created to raise funds for the Topeka Rescue Mission (TRM). CoreFirst pledged they would match up to $100,000 in donations. In less than three weeks that goal was met and additional campaign contributions exceeded that goal by $49,000. CoreFirst agreed to match the overage bringing the to-date match and community donations to $298,000.

“While the match was met and exceeded, we encourage everyone to keep the Mission Possible today and for years to come,” said Fager. “Donations to Mission Possible will continue to be accepted through September 18. We are also encouraging other businesses in the Topeka area to make a difference and contribute too. It’s great to see everyone pulling together to help the Mission.”

To promote Mission Possible: Restoring Hope, CoreFirst partnered with WIBW-TV, the Topeka Capital-Journal and Lamar Advertising. Despite the community match being met, donations for the Mission are still being welcomed through September 18th at any CoreFirst Topeka location or online at: corefirstbank.com/mission-possible.
