Envista Donation to Parks for All Foundation for Scoreboards

Envista Donation to Parks for All Foundation for Scoreboards

“This is International Credit Union Week and we are shining a light on those that have inspired us and given us hope during 2020, while going back to our roots of people helping people in their financial needs,” said Tara Dimick, Chief Business Development Officer of Envista. “Envista was formed by a merger of Super Chief Credit Union and Kansas Credit Union. Super Chief Credit Union was formed by the employees of Burlington Northern Santa Fe, a company that made its home in the Oakland community. We wanted to celebrate our history while giving back to one of the communities that helped create our organization. The Oakland Community Center serves as a hub for the neighborhood and brings many people from around Topeka to the area. We want them to shine proudly as they inspire and give hope to the individuals that enter their doors.”

“The Parks For All Foundation is grateful for the opportunity to partner with Envista Credit Union. The Oakland Community Center welcomes hundreds of community members and the addition of these new scoreboards, Parks For All Foundation and Shawnee County Parks + Recreation will be able to enhance their experience,” said Kimberly Wolff, Partnership Development Specialist of Parks For All Foundation. “I look forward to working with Envista in the future within the Oakland Community,”

“This generous donation from Envista Credit Union enables Oakland Community Center to make a much needed replacement of the scoreboards that serve our adult and youth recreational sports leagues as well as the community members who use the center. These scoreboards will serve hundreds of youth and adults from throughout Oakland and Shawnee County. We thank Envista Credit Union for their generosity,” said Susan Fowler-Hentzler, Recreation Superintendent of Shawnee County Parks & Recreation.

The Parks For All Foundation helps change the way our community sees itself. The Foundation helps Shawnee County Parks + Recreation provide family-friendly and safe outdoor spaces that can be shared by everyone in our welcoming community. Bringing, joy and vibrancy to the natural outdoor spaces we all love.

Envista Credit Union’s mission is to help members achieve their financial goals by providing quality products and services. Envista is a full-service financial institution established in 1957 that has more than $450 million in assets and serves more than 44,000 Kansans with offices in Topeka, Lawrence and Hutchinson.
