Donation Results of the November EnvistaCares Challenge
NOTO Arts & Entertainment District and Envista Credit Union are pleased to announce that thanks to community support totaling $18,270 NOTO Arts & Entertainment District will receive the challenge match of $2,500 from Envista. In total, NOTO Arts & Entertainment District received $20,770 in contributions.
“Most of what NOTO has accomplished over the years has been through the grit and determination of people, artists and small business owners, who wanted to make NOTO their home. NOTO has also prospered due to the generosity of the community, individuals and businesses who believed in the potential of the area and invested money in what had been an area of relative neglect,” said Thomas Underwood, Executive Director of NOTO Arts & Entertainment District. “We’re not finished, not by a long shot, there is so much more we want to do and need to do. We continue to count on the investment of those who call NOTO home and the investment by the community who value having a vibrant arts and entertainment district. The EnvistaCares Challenge offered NOTO an opportunity for the community investment, to share its enthusiasm for NOTO. All funds raised from this challenge will be used to support public art in NOTO and we thank you for your generous donations.”
“It is our goal to highlight and support organizations like NOTO Arts & Entertainment District that are doing exceptional work in our community,” said Tara Dimick, Chief Business Development Officer of Envista. “It is exciting to see the community step up to the challenge.”
