Managing Partner Clint Patty Selected for Leadership Kansas Class of 2020
TOPEKA, Kansas—Clayton Wealth Partners is excited to announce that Clint Patty, J.D., has been selected for Leadership Kansas, a statewide leadership-training program.
Patty, Managing Partner at our full-time fiduciary wealth advisory firm, will take part in the six-month program. Leadership Kansas is an affiliate of the Kansas Chamber and one of the “most prestigious statewide leadership programs in the country,” Kansas Chamber President and CEO Alan Cobb said in announcing the Class of 2020.
“Leadership Kansas has a long history of fostering greater awareness and understanding of statewide economic, business, and political issues,” Cobb continued. “The program helps develop our state leaders to make Kansas a stronger and more vibrant business engine.”
For 2020, Leadership Kansas received more than 600 nominations. The selection committee ultimately named 40 people, including Patty, based on track records of success in their careers and communities.
“I’m extremely humbled and honored to take part in Leadership Kansas,” Patty said. “I’m looking forward to working alongside some outstanding Kansans, developing perspectives and skills that can help me better serve professionally and in the community.”
Patty earned his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 1998. He had a highly successful private practice, was instrumental in our firm’s transition to a majority ownership group, and today serves as Managing Partner. He is also active in the community, including First Christian Church of Topeka, Stormont-Vail Hospital Foundation, Junior Achievement, and the Kansas Children’s Service League.
The training program will begin in late April and conclude with a graduation in October. In between that time, Patty and other class members will interact with experts and community leaders through a series of three-day training sessions. According to the press release, “topics will include business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health, economic development, and government.”
